Being certified as the top article by Center for Non-Destructive Evaluation (CNDE) on the conference on “Recent Advances in Railway Engineering (ICRARE 2021)”

The International Conference on Recent Advances in Railway Engineering (ICRARE) is one of the most prestigious and longstanding conferences in the field of railway engineering in West Asia. Up to date, six successful sessions of this scientific-industrial international event have been held by the School of Railway Engineering of Iran University of Science and Technology and have been very well received by many professors, researchers and local and foreign craftsmen. The 7th International Conference on Recent Advances in Railway Engineering (ICRARE 2021) was held on 18th and 19th of May 2021, with cooperation of all academic, research and industrial centers related to this field in the country. The Center for Non-Destructive Evaluation (CNDE) participated in this conference and presented a research paper entitled “Design and construction of a non-destructive system for detecting and measuring the amount of corrugation in the RDD-S11 rail defect detector device” and won the title of the best article.

Research project “Design and construction of non-destructive eddy current device in order to characterize the railway parameters of Mashhad Urban Train Operating Company” which has been carried out by respected professors Dr. Iman Ahadi Akhlaghi and Dr. Saeed Kahrobaee and his colleagues in the Center of Non-Destructive Evaluation and commissioned by Mashhad Urban Train Operating Company, Was selected as the selected industrial project of the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology in 1399.

the 6th Iranian Nondestructive Testing International Virtual Conference (IRNDT2020)

6th Iranian Nondestructive Testing International Virtual Conference (IRNDT2020) hosted by the Iranian Society for Nondestructive Testing (IRNDT) was held in Tehran, Iran on February 17-18, 2021 in association with ICNDT. The Center for Non-Destructive Evaluation participated in the conference with a paper entitled “Application of non-destructive method of magnetic flux leakage in identification of microstructure and mechanical properties of API X65 steel”.

Debuting of two products of the Center of Non-Destructive Evaluation (CNDE)

The unveiling ceremony of the achievements of the country’s rail systems was held in the presence of Sorena Sattari, Vice President for Science and Technology and President of the National Elite Foundation, Governor of Khorasan Razavi, Mayor of Mashhad and a group of city council members. During the ceremony, two devices “Rail Defect Detector (RDD-S11)” and “Automatic Rail Tunnel Washing Machine (ARTW-V1)” were unveiled, which are products of the Center of Non-Destructive Evaluation.

Selection of non-destructive research center research project as one of the top 10 projects in Khorasan Razavi province

The research project entitled “Design and construction of non-destructive eddy current device in order to characterize the railway parameters of Mashhad City Train Operation Company” has been selected and unveiled as one of the top 10 projects in Khorasan province in the festival and exhibition commemorating Research and Technology Week in 1398. This festival was held with the presence of 252 participants from the participation of students of the Faculty of Technology, Research, Executive Research Fields, Universities and Scientific and Technological Fields of Khorasan on December 12-14, 2019 at the permanent location of Mashhad Exhibition.
