The International Conference on Recent Advances in Railway Engineering (ICRARE) is one of the most prestigious and longstanding conferences in the field of railway engineering in West Asia. Up to date, six successful sessions of this scientific-industrial international event have been held by the School of Railway Engineering of Iran University of Science and Technology and have been very well received by many professors, researchers and local and foreign craftsmen. The 7th International Conference on Recent Advances in Railway Engineering (ICRARE 2021) was held on 18th and 19th of May 2021, with cooperation of all academic, research and industrial centers related to this field in the country. The Center for Non-Destructive Evaluation (CNDE) participated in this conference and presented a research paper entitled “Design and construction of a non-destructive system for detecting and measuring the amount of corrugation in the RDD-S11 rail defect detector device” and won the title of the best article.
As the mentioned article was presented, Dr. Yaghini, the president of the Conference and Railway Engineering Faculty of Iran University of Science and Technology, congratulated the construction team of the rail defect detector device on their success and thanked them for presenting the paper whilst called Sajad University one of the most successful non-profit universities in the country. Dr. Atai, a member of the Faculty of Railway Engineering, praised the activities of the Center for Non-Destructive Evaluation of Sadjad University and considered the presentation of this article as a testament to the valuable activities of the center. Dr. Esmaeili also congratulated the team on construction of the railway line diagnostic device and announced himself and the Faculty of Railway Engineering of the University of Science and Technology ready to cooperate with Sadjad University and the Center for Non-Destructive Evaluation in various fields, especially the construction of equipment and devices required by the railway industry.
